Sugared Strawberries, are a wonderful dessert. They are fast, simple, effective and delicious.
All you do is dice the strawberries into small pieces, cover the pieces with sugar, leave it to sit in the fridge for about 3 hours.
You will know it is ready, as the sugar dissolves and makes a delicious strawberry syrup. We eat it with ice-cream.
You could also drizzle it over pancakes, Madeira cake or eat it on its’ own. If you were going to eat it, as it is, I prefer to cut the pieces larger and add in other berries in too, you can add little or no sugar to this mixed berry fruit salad.
