We love pizza, home made, take-away, eating out…. With the children sometimes it is easier just to make it at home.
This is the way that I make the sauce for our ‘home made pizza’, it is very basic so left over sauce can be used up easily.
You will need;
- Olive oil
- Italian herbs
- sieved tomato passata
- olives (optional)
Heat oil in a pan, add in Italian herbs, garlic and passata cook until thick. Salt and pepper to taste.
I add olives into the sauce sometimes.
Use as pizza sauce.
You can use it as it is with some pasta.
Stir fry the left over pizza vegetables add the sauce in, and then… add pasta.
