Okra Shak 

Okra a wonderful tasty vegetable. We make it as a Shak, a dry curry.
Heat oil in a pan add ajwan seeds and asofoteda. Add in crushed garlic. I also add turmeric in at this point. Mix in the okra and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Cook the okra, until they are no longer sticky!
Once they are cooked add salt to taste and any other dry seasoning. I add red chili powder and cumin and coriander powder. Mix it all together and serve.

So quick and tasty. One of our favourite Gujarati shak.
