We are being made more and more aware of our sugar intake. Research now says, obesity is linked not only to fat in our diet but sugar too.
There are two types, natural and artificial. While a little is good for us… giving us ready energy, too much will affect our health negatively. How much is in your diet?

This app is fantastic (scary too) you simply take the bar code from the packaging of the food that you want information about, scan it (using the app) and it tells you how much sugar is in that food.
I was amazed. Then worried… when bread, cereal, pasta all have artificial sugar added, is thinking ‘my children don’t eat that much sugar!’ even true?
Get the app, it’s great. They don’t have all the products yet and I am not sure if it works internationally. Having said that it does have a pretty large product bank to help you have an idea as to how much sugar you are eating.
