When I am free, I love to watch Ted Talks. They are really insightful, broaden horizons and are great lengths to watch when you have some time. They also give you something to talk about… when you finally have some adult company. This particular one made me think how lucky we are compared to mothers over-seas.
This Ted Talk talks about the lack of support for working mothers in USA. The fact that they are forced back to work before they want to go/should go.
Although in this country we also have some issues, childcare is expensive and we don’t get help towards that until the child is two, we are lucky that we get paid leave as new mums. If you are a soon to be working mum, are a working mum or not.. I think this is worth a watch.
What do you think?
